A real superhero I say! Her incredible performance in Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman 1984 literally brought us to tears and she is also a Revlon Beauty ambassador. Gal has also recently become a producer and is working with Netflix on some exciting things so keep an eye out! Our beloved Jane Austen novel Emma came to life in 2020 when Anya Taylor Joy was cast as her in the movie adaption of the book. Since then Anya has starred in the big hit Netflix show The Queen’s Gambit (since 2020) which is also based on a book. Anya actually learned English at the age of 8, grew up in Buenos Aires and refused to speak English for 2 years after her family moved to London where she eventually learnt English from reading Harry Potter books.
